It’s a self-initiated project based on my obsession with Journey to the West, and some political “characters”.

I wanted to illustrate some politicians as main characters in an ancient Chinese literature, Journey to the West. Additionally, I intended to add the same Monkey King mask from the Chinese opera to each politician to create some dramas. Every politician wants to be the dominate character of the story, just like their attitudes to the world.
