The AOI, in partnership with the Directory of Illustration, is delighted to announce the 200 projects that have been shortlisted for the World Illustration Awards 2022. The shortlist has been selected from over 5,000 entries from 77 countries following a rigorous and competitive judging process.

The Shortlist presents some of the most exciting illustration work from around the world. It is an important way for commissioners to discover quality illustrators and a celebration of the illustration industry.

The 200 shortlisted projects are featured in an exciting, dynamic Online Showcase curated by the AOI’s Awards Teams. With contributions from partners and judges, and the illustrators themselves, the showcase features interviews and curated galleries, offering a vibrant celebration of great illustration and the stories behind the work.
