PLR TOP 50 ILLUSTRATORS 2018/2019

Public Lending Rights (PLR) have released the Top 50 Illustrators whose work has been most borrowed from public libraries. Number 1 is AOI Patron Tony Ross! And the list also includes Patron Quentin Blake and current Children’s laureate Cressida Cowell.

We welcome this list as a recognition of the value illustrators bring to book publishing.

    The results are based on loans attributed to these titles and as well as reflecting the popularity the titles in public libraries, the rankings reflect the constantly changing PLR Sample, and can also be impacted by the availability and quality of bibliographic data used when compiling the lists.
