Having been closely involved with the European Illustrators Forum (of which AOI is a member), illustrator Tyra von Zwiegbergk, vice President at Svenska Tecknare, has been elected the new Secretary General on the board of the global design organization International Council of Design, Ico-D. The new board was elected at the International Design Congress i Gwangju, South Korea, on the 23rd October.

Tyra says, “I am delighted to be a part of the Ico-D board! The Secretary General plays an important part and I am very pleased and proud to be trusted with this position. Ico-D is a great organization with an invaluable network. I am really looking forward to get started and see what Ico-D can do to further help improve the world of design.”
ico-D is an International Association of organizations and institutions in the design field with the main focus in visual communication and graphic design. Svenska Tecknare is one of the 200 members that are spread all over the world. The ico-D board has members from 4 continents with a unique experience of both design practice and design education.
