An exciting evening was had by all on 8 October as guests from across the world joined the AOI to celebrate this years award winning illustration, which is currently on display in the Terrace Rooms at Somerset House until 27 October.

The award night coincided with the release of the new edition of Varoom Magazine which exclusively features the awards. This is now available to purchase at the Rizzoli Bookshop at Somerset House or directly through the AOI.

A huge congratulations to all of the award winners this year, who are pictured celebrating below. The judging panel had a tough job on their hands deciding upon the overall Professional and New Talent winners earlier that afternoon and we were holding out breath in anticipation as these winners were announced. This years overall winner of the Professional Award was Jonathan Burton for the Folio Society commission Odd Bods. The New Talent Award is shared by Mitch Miller for A Showman’s Yard in the East End and Jun Cen for his graphic novel Entrance/Exit.
